Title: GA-Z77Z-UD3H microphone issue
Post by: zoma on September 28, 2012, 05:11:55 pm
Hello,

Last week i assembled a system with a GA-Z77X-UD3H board rev 1.0, bios is f17, cpu is intel 3570k. I have been trying to the microphone to work properly all week. Speakers are working fine. I have tried 3 different mics, which all work fine on my laptop. But all three are EXTREMELY quiet on the new computer. Having maxed mic boost to 30db and maxed mic volume, still i have to hold the mics close to my mouth and speak rather loud to hear anything. I am running win 7 64 bit. The audio driver is version is Via 6.0.1.10800. Any help would be greatly appreciated! This is very frustrating as obviously the mic port does work, just not well enough to use skype or any voip clients...

you can go to VIA control audio panel to check if it select as front mic / speaker.
