Title: ga-78lmt-s2p rev. 4.0 steam and other game issues

Hi updated to latest bios as I know this seems to be the problem but still cant get steam to work without a bsod and now I have same issue with the new xcom game seems to be same fault as it only crashes when running either steam or the xcom game anyone link me via pm to a fix?

System spec fx4100 bulldozer 4 gb 1333mhz ram 6750 2gb g card nexus 700w psu and raptor hd hope that helps

This boards with AMD 7xx chipsets aren t the best choice for Bulldzoer.
I would advice you ,to have proper BIOS support , to get a AMD 9xx chipset based  board.

Maybe the BIOS is not good and does not have the fix for this CPU-s.
You need a BIOS released somewhere in the spring of 2012 to get it done.
Maybe you should contact Gigabyte and ask for a beta BIOS.

Or sell the board you have and get a NEW motherboard

Hi thanks for reply have spoken to someone from where I got board and has sent me a new bios to try if it works will gladly send to all who wish to try suppose to fix the gaming issues fingers crossed:)

Do not post your mail on forums ,you will be flooded  by spam bots.You can upload the BIOS on some safe file sharing site and link it maybe ,if Gigabyte allows you to do so.

Hi lepescu, is this for the 64-bit version of Windows 7? having the same troubles myself but the BIOS on the gigabyte site doesn't support 64-bit :/
