GA-Z77-DS3H RAM problem
« on: January 30, 2013, 08:40:26 pm »
I have a problem with GA-Z77-DS3H motherboard and KHX1600C9D3B1_4G RAM (2 modules),
System does not boot (beep) when RAM modules are set to dual channel (in single channel everything is fine).

Is there any way to fix this problem?

CHIEFTEC APS-550S 550W
Kingston SSD SV200S3128G
G860 CPU
GTX 550Ti

v v v v ---> Does this mean that i have to have 4 modules to run memory in dual channel?

As a matter of interest, what BIOS version are you running?

If it is not the latest version, F10f, it might be worthwhile updating to it and seeing if that helps.

If you are running he latest BIOS try going back to the F9 version and see if that makes a difference.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.
