Simple Novice BIOS Question
« on: August 30, 2013, 02:52:58 am »
Self-built system using GA-P67X-UD3-B3 MB.  I connected the DVD Drive to SATA3-0 port and the HD to SATA3_1 port.  All ok.  I wanted to add another HD, so I connected the new HD to SATA2_2 port.  Win7 does not see the new HD, because I did not tell the BIOS that there was a second HD.  I can't tell which switch to flip in the BIOS to let the system know there is a 2nd HD.  Any idea?

There is no switch. If you are using sata o & 1 than 2 should work too because they are on the same controller.

If this is a new right out of the box you will have to set it up. Control panel / Administrative tools / computer management / storage / disk management. Than you can setup the drive.
