Luckily I don't get BSOD when playing steam games. Its a decent board; maybe just poorly configured.
It may be poorly configured but i tend to believe it s the way the BIOS does the job in culprit here.
There should be no choppiness.
Just disable what i ve told you and see how it works ,if it works ok like this then most probable the response time of the VRM is the problem here thus the need of proper board.
FX CPU-s demand proper VRM-s with fast reaction times to smoothly switch around between the power states.
A lot of bad image was created for FX CPU-s with improper boards.
A FX with six core or more needs a proper board by all means.
Keep in mind that by disabling CPB the Turbo core states ,there are 2 of them ,will not be reached anymore.
C1E should be turned off at all times.
