J1900N-D3v NO video out
« on: November 08, 2015, 12:27:56 am »
Could use a little help. I am on my second J1900 MB and am unable to get any video output from either of 2 boards. I am using a known good monitor (works with another PC), I have tried 2 different VGA cables (bothwork with another PC), also tried a known good DVI cable. I am not even able to see the boot up sequence. using a IN WIN BP655 case. all power is connected and memory is plugged into dimm1 slot. If I have to send this back I guess I'll have to change brands. Any suggestions from any one?

I am stumped but if you have tried 2 motherboards  I doubt if that is your problem.

I checked the manual and that of a competitor with a similar Intel Mini ITX Form Factor model with same processor.

I also looked at the In Win BP655 mini ITX case. It appears to come with a Haswell Ready 200W power supply.

The competitors manual recommends using a MINIMUM of a 350 watt power supply.

This board supposedly requires only 10 watts. I am pretty sure that is not the issue.
