BIOS Upgrade With RAID Config

Using GA-X58A-UD7 with BIOS F2.  Would like to upgrade to BIOS F6.  I have set up a RAID config via BIOS using Intel Driver on Windows 7 64bit platform.  If I simply follow the instructions provided in the manual I'm afraid the BIOS F6 will not 'see' my RAID config.  Please could someone who knows what they are doing post instructions for folks like me.

Update  BIOS shutdown & startup as you would > enter BIOS by Del set BIOS options to how you needed them set with SATA set RAID > save reboot done.
