GA-MA785G-UD3H HDD driver issues
« on: May 21, 2010, 01:07:28 am »
I have been building a computer by myself (1st) and I've been having issues installing my HDD. I'm trying to install Windows Vista Home Premium (gonna upgrade to 7 when I get the computer running) and I can't format my HDD. I can't seem to be able to get it to acknowledge the drivers. I have been searching online for drivers but none of them work.

I'm using a 500 gig Western Digital HDD.  WD5000AACS-00G8B1

I can find my HDD in Bios so I know its connected right.

Any help would be appreciated.

Right now its set to Native IDE. I can set it to RAID or AHCI but I only have the one HDD.

The issues I'm having is dealing with the Driver. Its really pissing me off.

Hi,

If you do a search on the net and throughout this forum you can find a lot of people facing this issue.

It is the hard-drive that you trying to use. Change it for one that is not green and your problem will be solved.
