Well, my 3rd AX860i has gone wobbly again, and doesn't work.
It booted up to the desktop, then froze, and had to hold in the power button to get it to shut down, rebooted and then the PC just went into the boot loop sequence, and would not start.
I had to press the power button again to shut it down, and then turn off the PSU when it started the boot loop again.
This model of PSU just does not like my Z170X Gaming G1 board, and am currently running with the Corsair RM550X and it is working just fine.
I wonder what it is with the motherboard that buggers up the PSU ?
It has been tested at the Corsair RMA section, and they even bought the same motherboard, and my PSU failed on that.
So this is now my 3rd PSU, and I am not going to RMA it back to them, because I don't want another one in return, because I am now pretty sure that it will only last a couple of months, before it packs up, near enough the same as the previous two.
So that is some £400 down the drain, and I will just have to write it off to experience.........
