Hi,
I've assembled PC and suffer issues with beep codes, which I'm not quite sure how to interpret them.
Speaker buzzes 4 long beeps and 1 short, which is interrupted by reset.
Motherboard is powered up - all fans do work, there's some ilumination. BIOS was in unknown revision, so I've reprogrammed it with MiniPro 866CS to F24 revision that supports KabyLakes (succesful reprog, 8192KB file that doesn't contain additional config data, like Asus CAP files).
CPU is Pentium G4600.
RAM I've checked with single, dual config, each slot. Still the same.
All components are purchased from Ebay, so I can't be sure they are 100% supposed to work. Sometimes sh*t happens - like yesterday when courier deliveres completely smashed CPU cooler :/ Thing is I might presume some component's fault, but not sure which one it is.
I've found info:
https://www.gigabyte.com/Support/Faq/816that says "continuous long beeps" (which I can treat as main beeps, because last beep is like interrupted by reset) means wrong memory. However, when I remove both memory sticks, I get the same beeps.
If CPU was faulty - so I probably got 6 short beeps.
CPU socket was without bent pins.
Power supply is brand new, no graphic cards are attached (just VGA and DVI monitors).
Any thoughts, please ?
