EP43-UD3L 5750 (no signal)

Been having major issues with this Sapphire HD 5750 video card. I first tried it on my Gigabyte P35-DS3L
No post, monitor says "no signal" and then the error beep, 1 long and 2 short (video error)
Tried a new motherboard, same problem. Tried another power supply, same problem!

Now I've read online that a lot of chipsets just don't agree with this card, and that motherboard manufactureres released BIOS updates
for this...Well I'm on the latest one (F9) I believe. or is there another one, or other chipset drivers I should be using?

Currently on the EP43-UD3L with the F9 bios
Windows XP SP3
Sapphire HD 5750 (test on other pcs and works)
OCZ 2GB PC2 8200 "Crossfire edition"
Using VGA to DVI adapter (both cable and adapter tested and work)

Any ideas? or other people with similar problems? this is driving me insane!

First question is do youn have the card in the right slot? I know it may sound silly but it was the problem the other day and it took us ages to find out the OP had it in a different slot. Also what revision is your motherboard?

Yeah I'm not a clueless noob. Plus It's the EP43-UD3L, there's only 1 PCI-E x16 slot so...options are limited. And yes I plugged it in with the
PCI-E 6-pin connector from the PSU. lol

I mean, I thought it could be my Power Supply, it's only 25 amps apparently

But running just 1 stick of memory and the CPU and same thing.

I've seen the same issue all over the place with power supplies that are much beefier
Mostly it's remedied by a BIOS or chipset update, but I've got the two current ones
unless the chipset drivers on the gigabyte download page are outdated, couldn't find
newer ones on the intel site either.

Yes you seem to be running the latest BIOS. You might want to have a look on the TweakTown Forum which is the US version of our forum. They often have beta BIOS versions before we get them.

The only other suggestion I can make is to try updating the cards firmware.
Even though the PSU is a bit on the low side especially with the 12v rail spread over two like that which isn't ideal. If possible it would be worth trying to borrow one or try one out in the shop before you purchase it. A single rail  with about 45amps would be more like it.

Alright I'll check them out. Yeah if I can't find any software solution I'll go pick up a good PSU tomorrow and hopefully that'll
