I haven't checked yet but I can't understand why you would want to disable Hyper Threading anyway?

Please excuse my bad manners.  Welcome to the forum. Well I did a search and couldn't find any way of disabling it in the BIOS. Sorry, but I really don't think it is necessary. Pro Tools should run with hyper threading turned on as far as I am aware.

Hi there,

Pro Tools along with other Audio recording software can sometimes have issues with multi-core CPU's and or Hyperthreading, hence the reason that it is sometimes recommended to disable this feature, especially f you find that you are having issues when recording multi-track audio or when using lots of VST plug-ins etc.

To disable Hyperthreading on your motherboard you need to go to the M.I.T. section of BIOS and then Advanced CPU Features. Just a note from the User's Manual that says: This item is only present if you install CPU that supports this feature.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

HTT, multi threading, etc
In your case look for "CPU Multi-Threading"
