« on: January 14, 2011, 08:14:58 pm »
Hi,

trying to install windows server 2008 and when I try I get error Sources\Install.wim is missing. I have burnt the DVD again at lower speed and also changed DVD drive. I think its down to windows server not recongnising somthing. Is this a know issue? Has only got this board working with windows server 2008?

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

It is not something that I have heard of on the forum before but there again these boards have only just been released and so some problems are only just beginning to show.

Is it a genuine copy of Windows Server 2008 ?

Have you set your controller to AHCI and if so is the optical drive on the same controller ?

A few more details would help greatly.

Well if possible move the optical drive onto another controller and set it to IDE mode. Often they don't like AHCI mode.
