« on: June 18, 2011, 03:22:21 pm »
hello staff Gigabyte forum!

I accessed the BIOS > MB Intelligent Tweaker (MIT) > system memory multiplier, moved 4.00a
For recognize DDR 1333 MHz overclocked

Always when I turn on pc automatically shuts down for 2 seconds and turns back booting without error in normal settings.
is this normal?

my setup is:
Motherboard: GA-G41MT-S2 v1.3
Memory: Kingston DDR3 1333 KVR1333D3N9/2G x2
HD: SAMSUNG HD103SJ 1TB SATA II 7200 RPM 32MB
Power Supply: Corsair CX500

Hi

It is very common for this to happen to overclocked Intel platforms. Some even "restart" three times on cold boot.

It means that this reaction is normal?
my overclock of memory is correct?
would have an ideal overclocking?

Yes the reaction is normal.

If the memory is working ok and at the correct speed then it is fine.

I don't know what you mean by an ideal overclocking ???

overclocking ideal = overclocking best, correct or recommended

What settings do you recommend me to overclock 1333MHz DDR3?

All systems behave differently and what one will be stable at another will keep giving problems. You must just find the maximum speed that your platform will work at and remain stable.

I Asked Gigabyte Technical Support have not Helped me to realize the overclocking
and ask you if you have any ideas of go up to 1333MHz memory
because the site says that this motherboard reaches up to DDR1333 OC.

If your memory has one you can use the XMP profile to overclock it to 1333 mhz. If not you will have to enter all the settings manually. The timings and voltage will normally be on the side of the modules or the box they came in.
