Hey guys !

I'm new to the forums so dont be too rough with me please if i did something wrong. So i am planning to buy a new RIG and found this motherboard that i am interessted in : Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 or 5 .

I would like to have a rig like this :  MB : GA-990FXA-UD3
CPU : amd 1100T 6 cores (or maybe waiting for the FX CPU's )
                                                 MeM : 4GB 1600 mhz
                                                  VC   : GTX 560
I would like to know what do you think of the Motherboard but could also some1 offer me a good Powersupply for this to run smoothly ? :) Please !

You may be better off waiting for one of the 8-core Bulldozers to come out.
But with that said a good 800-850  watt power-supply like the: Corsair TX850W Power Supply - 850W
should suffice and give you headroom to run another card in SLI should you want to.

Also the new Bulldozers are supposed to support DDR3-1866 memory instead of the DDR3-1333
native support that the Phenom II's have. So that might something else to think about.

If you have the patience and have the money I would recommend waiting for just a few more weeks
for the Bulldozer to come.

Crucial 8GB DDR3 1333MHz CL9 Kit (2x4GB)
Gigabyte 880GA-UD3H AMD
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
Corsair H50 CPU Liquid Cooler
WD Caviar Black 1TB SATA HD 7200/64MB/SATA-6G
Ultra LSP650 650w Power Supply
XFX Radeon HD 4670

I agree with the above advice.
You can NEVER go wrong with too much power -as far as a good pwr-Supply goes. That being said.
I have a Corsair TX850 -very good at a decent price. So anything similar (or higher) would be advisable.
MB: GA-X58A-UD3R / GA-890FXA-UD5

Thankyou for the informations. I do have the patience to wait for the Zambezi's . I think i can afford the AMD Bulldozer FX-6100 if it will be a 240-250 $ but i will not have SLI because this will be my last RIG upgrade ( i would not like to spend a dine after this on computers.

Just want a decent gaming rig for a few years and that is all :) .

Would you guys think an FSP AURUM GOLD 500 w will be enough for this ? Or should i just get my older broken FSP 600 W repaired ?

500w is a bit low. 600w would be better. As long as you don't plan to overclock
anything. For a single video card system I would still go a little higher for some
additional headroom like a 650w power supply.

Buying a PSU with insufficient wattage can cause unexpected shut-downs with your computer.
And sometimes other strange behaviors.

Yes I would agree with that. You really need to be looking at a 650W minimum PSU and one from a reputable company like Seasonic, Corsair, Enermax, Gigabyte etc. You will need to get one slightly bigger than your current needs as it will suffer from capacitor droop as time goes on and the rated output will fall.
