You may get the result you want by updating the BIOS so it is worth a try. Use a small USB pendrive and the QFlash utility. I see that you have already been pointed towards the FAQ to help you so just follow the information there and you shpould find it fairly straightforward, just don't get flustered and do not switch off during the procedure for any reason.

I'm so disappointed right now...

I upgraded BIOS with QFlash and everything went as expected. The POST screen showed the updated version of BIOS (FEe) and I was able to enter BIOS setup and Windows again, but just with my VGA in the PCIEX4 slot  :-[

I did all the steps of changing the PCIEX slot and changing the options (PEG and PEG1) in BIOS setup, but the problem just does not go away.

What can I do now, people? I should never tried to upgrade with @BIOS, but how should I know it isn't reliable if this is RECOMMENDED by the mobo manual?

Please, help me  :(

Hi there,

Having read through the whole thread it would appear to me that you may have to RMA the motherboard as it definitely shouldn't be behaving this way.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

Hi, absic! Thanks for your answer.

What is RMA? Could you explain or send me a link or something?

Thanks!

RMA is just short for Returned Materials Authorisation and means that it is arranged for the board to be sent back for repair/replacement.

Just enter your email address and click on the language of choice.
