F8M Bios still as beta

F8M Bios still as beta

Ok so just been on the gigabyte website having my monthly check for updates and noticed a new F9 beta bios
however the F8 bios is also still in beta stage

am i missing something here??

No I doubt that yopu are missing anything just simply that someone has been a bit slow in finalising the F8 up to release standard or something like that. You could check on TweakTown as they often have the latest BIOS versaions before even we get them.

I don't know if you are experiencing any issues with your system, you have not mentioned anything, if you are not why do you want to change your BIOS?

I really wouildn't worry even if the BIOS version is still listed as Beta. If it has been uploaded onto the Gigabyte website it has been thoroughly tested already and should work fine. I run Beta BIOS versions all the time and seldom have any problem with them at all. ;)

im still using f7 bios i was just curious as to why they would have 2 at beta stage. i read on another site that the final version of f8 was pulled but a reason was never mentioned
