Looking for a good card I can double up on without breaking the bank, perhaps something like the following?:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161405&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
Or this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121425&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-NA-_-NA
I think this is the CPU I will be purchasing if that helps in determining what graphics card would be the best fit:

OK I have added a few components and could use some advice/suggestions.
I'm all about saving cash if you believe some of these parts are overkill or a cheaper part could come close to its more expensive counterpart.
Also not sure on the CPU.

Hi there,
if it were my money I would probably go for this card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125439
rather than the SLI route.
Yes, two 560ti's will probably out perform the single card but I think it is negligible. I'm sure someone will correct me on this if I am wrong.
It is slightly cheaper than the two 560's
Less hassle when it comes to setting the system up
Things will be cooler. two 560's will have to sit pretty close together and one card will inevitably run hotter, due to restricted airflow.
On the CPU front I would probably go for either a 6 core or an 8 core FX processor either this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113286
or this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113285
With RAM, again I would go for a 16 Gb kit rather than 8 Gb kit this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233299
With the CPU and RAM a lot will depend on how you are planning to use the PC, which you haven't told us, and your choice is probably fine. I do a lot of A/V work recording and rendering on my PC so I tend to look at a system slightly differently to those who are using theirs mainly for gaming.

Thanks for the great info absic! This rig will be used primarily for gaming.
You think this board is up for the task? Or should I aim higher?

Made a few changes and adds. What are your thoughts on "video card option 2"?

Or do I scrap AMD for Intel, drop the mobo, CPU and GPU for these?

ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77
