Poor performance of Vertex 4 drive on 990XA-UD3
« on: January 19, 2013, 07:12:13 pm »
Hi guys!

Got a problem with my new toy... ocz forum members redirected to gigabyte :)

Look by yourself:

Should be around 500 mb/s read and write.
All other benchmarks are showing fairly the same values.
Drive is about 35-40% full only. Firmware 1.5.  Working in ahci raid mode with two Samsung F3 drives in raid 0.
All inserted into SATA3 ports on mobo.
Newest BIOS and ahci raid drivers from amd site.

Somebody can help?

Seems like that is OCZ's trademark to pass the buck. If you are not getting rated speeds on your SSD it is the SSD not your motherboard. I have seen alot of complaints online about OCZ and their SSD drives and customer service. It was the main reason when i went to SSD i didnt buy a OCZ.
