Gigabyte Z77X D3H boot UEFI via DVD ROM
« on: March 17, 2013, 09:42:11 am »
Good morning,

I wonder what options enabled in the BIOS leave to be done via the Windows installation DVD in the ROM BIOS in UEFI mode, since only managed to install via PEN DRIVE

The first thing you have to do is go into BIOS Features

Then go down to your CD/DVD ROM Drive/BBS Priorities In there make sure the DVD is enabled

Then go back up to the  - Boot Option Priorities

(Boot Option #1)  DVD ROM drive as the first priority

(Boot Option #2). Hard drive as the second priority

In boot option 1 they will show the DVD 1st and the HD 2nd

In boot option 2 they will show the HD 1st and the DVD 2nd

But once you have installed OS it will auto everything to the right boot order. Most likely it will be the Windows boot 1st.

The new UEFI  bios it will take some time to feel your way around in them not like the old bios.
