ga-x58-ud7 - Plugging in Sidewinder X8 mouse

Hello to all forum members,

Just bought the mobo 'ga-x58-ud7' and everytime I plug in the USB mouse (Microsoft Sidewinder X8) (I also have a G19 that works though and PS/2 keyboard at the same time) the BIOS restarts, or get a screen saying overclock has fa**** (nothing more)

Sound like a timing issue or voltage problem, seen s1 else mention it on another forum, REALLY annoying, work when plugging in when W7 setup and W7 has started fully... Anything BIOS or non-OS2 related makes it hang and reboot...

Which BIOS version are you running? Might be worth updating...

I've also heard similar stories but from EVGA funnily enough. Guy has a G19 and device disapears or causes PC to incorrectly boot when it's plugged in until he plugs it in at Windows booting. (very similar to an old G15 batch problem) Same for his Razer Megalodon.

What about at stock settings? Does it also reboot? If so, might be worth increasing the control chip voltages to see if it's a USB voltage issue.
