Q77M-D2H can't get into ctrl-I RAID console

On my Q77M-D2H motherboard I have
    SATA Mode Selection = RAID
but can't manage to get into the Intel RAID option ROM setup (console) when typing ctrl-I during POST.

Also, I don't see the message announcing that the RAID option ROM has been loaded, though there are not much messages at all (no IRQ listings etc). I've tried to change
    Full Screen LOGO Show
but this only changes whether there is an AMI or Gigabyte logo shown at POST, and doesn't give me any POST messages.

What's going on?

Solved.

The board had been to Gigabyte Service and it seems they had flashed an incomplete or incompatible BIOS version. When reflashing the BIOS all the RAID stuff appeared again (before that Intel RST reported that "The platform is not supported").
