Can be core i3 6100 OC With GA-Z170-HD3P?

Hello I recently bought a Core I3 6100 with  a motherboard GA-Z170-HD3P. I saw in one forum that the proccesor can be oc but I don't know if the trick works with that motherboard

my advice is to buy a cpu that is unlocked if you want to overclock. otherwise you are putting stress on the cpu and motherboard that was not meant to be there.

that being said you can always try in that article they didn't even have good results.

As i know the motherboard companies have beta upades in the drivers that make the non-k proccesors overclockable for example the F5G beta update. So the motherboard doesn't suffer the stress that you are talking about .

In the other site in the article says that overvlock disables the integrated gpu and need a replace of the stock cooler so I think there is chance of no stress.

Anyway waiting for the first reviews that tested it
