GA-Z170X-Gaming-7 with 3 monitors using on-board Intel HD Graphics possible?

I am going to build new PC with the GA-Z170X-Gaming-7. For few months I will not be able to afford a decent graphic card so in the meantime I will need to use the on-board HD Graphics.

As far as I know the board has HDMI 2.0, Display-Port 1.2 and Thunderbolt-3, so I am wondering if I can use all those ports to connect the 3 monitors?

As far as I know, only two monitors have been supported in the past.

However, they make a Display Port multi-adapter for running three monitors on one display port.  Still not sure if that will work either.  or if it does, the performance may suffer.

I think that if the board will be able to use the 3.1 type C as Thunderbolt 3, than there will be no problem and the quality will not deteriorate because 40Gb/s should be enough for 3 1080p monitors.

Another possibility will be to maybe use all the outputs at the same time: HDMI 2.0, DP 1.2 and USB 3.1 type C / Thunderbolt 3.

I have done some tests. 3 displays works, one from each connector. The USB-C port only allows one display as far as I can tell. Some motherboards allow 2 displays from the thunderbolt 3 connector.
