Gigabyte B150N PHOENIX-Wi-Fi Boot issue

Hi Guys,

I've built a new system with the above board but I cant get it to boot. When I press the power button the lights come on, the cpu fan spins up for about 1 second, then go off again. after 3 or 4 seconds the power comes on again for 1 second then off again. I get a click from the speaker when it powers on but I've only once managed to a beep out of it and I am sure I got 5 but possibly 6 beeps. I think I had the CPU fan unplugged at this point. I have since been unable to get any beeps out of it and it just sits in a power on for 1 second cycle. The monitor doesn't come on.

I've tried various combinations of components, from no cpu or memory, and always get the same result. I'm using on board graphics, and have no HDD connected any the moment.

CPU is an i5-6600T, RAM is G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series F4-3000C14D-32GVR 32 GB

Any pointers, could it be DOA ?

Thanks,
David.
