Hello, first of all i wish everybody a prosperious year !

When I attach an 8th drive on my motherboard the boot disk priotity skip/throws out my bootdisk. This is a OCZ ssd on the pciex8 slot. When I booted on a regular sata same thing happenend. In the bios disk priority section you can only see 7 pheripials... Can I make the conclusion this Mobo cannot handel more than 8 drives??

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum and a Happy New Year to you too.

I take it the drive you are referring to is a OCZ Revodrive. Make sure that it has the latest firmware as there have been issues with OCZ drives and Gigabyte boards in the past.

It sounds to me like a BIOS issue. I haven't seen it come up on  the forum before so I don't know if it has been addressed so far.
I would suggest that you inform GGTS of this and they might be able to help.
