Hi all,
I'm getting things ready to prepare stuff for the upcoming new build I will perform with a 880GMA-ud2h.
Reading carefully through Gigabytes instructions for updating Bios it says :
Q-Flash only supports USB flash drive or hard drives using FAT32/16/12 file system.
Alright, so I found this tiny pendrive in a drawer with only 32MB capacity, ideal to flash a Bios (which weights a bit more than 1MB)
Windows 7 only allows me to format in FAT, not even FAT32/16/12...--> See
picI tried the Command Prompt method -> format /FS:FAT32 X: (Being X your Drive letter)....it finished and it said.... "volume is too small for fat32"...
Arghhh!!!!
So, I can only format this 32MB drive in FAT....will the mobo be able to read it when I Q-Flash the Bios before I do the Win 7 installation?
Or should i tak a bigger pendrive of 4 GB for instance?
Any advice?
Cheers,
Ken
