GA-VM900M - CMOS BIOS UPGRADE FOR HARD-DISK 2 TERABYTES CAPACITY

I have a problem with detect HD (hard-disk) over 1 terabyte. I have on hard-disk - western digital WD20EARX sata caviar green intellipower with 2.O TB terabytes and capacity detect of BIOS it is impossible yet.

Someone can help me ?

Especification motherboard: Gigabyte GA-VM900M, VIA VT8237S BIOS FC v6.00PG -- 08/14/2007-P4M900-8237S-6A7L8G10C-00 - Pentium dual core E2140 potenciall 1.6GHZ ---   from I found update here [ http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2581#ov ] and I did upgrade for the last bios FD but no success.

That motherboards Chipset VIA 8237S has issues with some SATA 3Gb/s drives, so I'm not surprised you are having issues with a 6Gb/s drive.   It may or may not ever work, but what you can try is put a jumper on the drive to limit it's speed to SATA 1.5Gb/s or try 3Gb/s first
