Memory not fully showing in WXP
« on: March 11, 2012, 05:30:19 pm »
Hi,

My GF has 4 x 1Gb of RAM and yet when we look at the 'performance' tab within task manager only 3.4Gb total is showing.

I understand that not all physical memory is available but the 'available' memory is shown separately.

It is probably nothing to worry about but isn't it normal to show slightly more memory, not susbtansially less?
