 :) Hello,

Win7 max Ram are 192 giga .

I have the win7 ult x64 installed on  other HDD. It run perfectly with 6 giga RAM .

You would like to use 12 giga of RAM ... you surelly some one doing some 3Ds max rendering or video editing , right ?

For sure your system will boot with out any problem . ;D

Hi,
I cannot find any memory compatibility list for your mobo,
Your memory should Work ok,
Test it out with the minimum components, before installing into your case,
You may have to set up  memory timings and voltages in bios,
Any problems post back here,
Regards

:-\  Hi all , Ive been adviced that if I use the 12gb ram option on the ex58a ud7 I won't be able to install the Noctua SE2 dual fan .. so what other option I have as far the cooling, the reason for the 12gb is for adobe photoshop cs4 and video editing .. help !

Hi,
If your not overclocking ,Do you really want a cooler like that in the first place? ::)
Can you run that cooler with only 1 fan, or double up one side to leave space for the memory, 8)
Can you get 4 gig sticks? :'(
Just giving you options m8, ;D

Hi
In addition to the above cooling, how about one of these
http://www.giga-byte.co.uk/Products/AirCooling/Default.aspx
They are made for the various motherboards in question regarding memory space requirements I would have thought,
Cheers

Hey,

I got my UD7 this week as well and am running it with Dominator 1866.

I'm having some problems... any one seen similar?

Seen so far:
1. USB doesn't initialise all the time at boot - Had to power off 5 times before USB worked again pre-OS
2. TMPIN03 (SYS) Temp really high - 53+ degrees
3. Not sure what temps should be seeing - but with silent-pipe NB runs at 45 degrees @ idle ( might need to spread thermal paste better.. using AS5)
4. Windows 7 hung a couple of times during boot

Thanks,
