Lucid Virtu MVP, Windows 8 and and DS3H

After installing Win8 on a new computer, Virtu MVP is only installed in Trial mode.
Similar to this post:

I have followed the instructions in the post, but still only Trial version.

this board does not support Lucid virtu MVP;
that's why you see it's trial version.

I was tricked by marketing.
The feature list itself does not actually list Lucid Virtu, OK.
The feature page has a link in "Read More" to Virtu MVP presentation that says "GIGABYTE 7 series motherboards support Lucid Virtu GPU virtualization technologies". Comparing motherboards does not indicate this difference.  The GA-Z77-D3H seem to have this feature.
I would probably have bought another MB if this had been detectable. Feeling tricked does not improve the experience.

okay, I get that lucid logic is not supported by this mb. However, the Gigabyte website states that this motherboard has intel quick sync. How do you use this feature without lucid logics software. Sorry. I have been away from Windows for a long time.
