Hello people.
I have the GA-990FXA-UD3 rev.1.0 motherboard and i want to enable AHCI on Bios for my hard drives. I don't know the procedure and i would like you to help me.
I have 3 hard drives:
1) For Win7 64bit
2) For WinXp 32 bit
3) For my saves

First of all, i don't know which file i must download from here cause i have dual boot:  http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3894#dl

And secondly, i don't know the procedure i must do to make AHCI work ok without problems and bsod.
I hope you can help me  step by step  :)

Win 7 goes into sata_0 and then xp goes into sata_1 leave the saves out for now.
To enable ACHI tap delete button on keyboard and enter bios. Go to your modes for hard drivees and change it from sata to ACHI.

Now if you arent going to reformatt your hard drives you want to start into win 7 and win xp and do the registry hack to enable ACHI mode.

Then do the bios changes. Myself i would do a fresh install of both OS that way it loads the drivers before you install OS and sets the registry keys right for you. After you get both up and running then add in your saved drive.
