Z68C-UD7-B3 with GSKILL Trident X 16GB 2133 PC3-17000 Ram

having an issue.. Currently have this board, with the F11a bios, with a i7-2600K OC to 4.8Ghz.. Runing 8GB of GSkill Trident RipJaw X @ 2133 no issue.. Wanted to upgrade to 16GB (2x8) so i picked up F3-2133C9D-16GTX Trident-X PC3-17000 Ram..

The Memory (which accoring to GSkill is on their list of tested Ram Etc..) will NOT boot past 1600Mhz.  I have tried every bios from F8-F11a, each one does the same as soon as i set the XMP Profile.. System shuts of, turns on, shuts off, turns on and says Overclocking Failed and forces it back down to 1333.

Been at this for over 5 hours, and im at wits end.  Should i send back 16GB and forget about it?  What 16GB CL9 Ram has been tested with this board?  Would th RIpJaw's be better?  I have tweaked all voltages and no matter what i set it was the same thing.. It has to be either bad ram? (doubtful as they worked at lower speeds), or an incompatability?!?

Wow not 1 reply. Nice..

Well i switched the memory for GSkill RipJaw X series F3-2133C9D-16GXH and the Same damn thing is happening.. Camt run at 2133, 1866, or even 1600 is having an issue.. The motherboard boot loops every time i set it to 2133, where the 8GB runs fine at 2133.

I put the stettings in, Use XMP Profile 2.. Save and Exit.. It shuts down, starts up on its own for 2 seconds, shuts down and comes back on and all my PC settings are reset to default.

It does NOT do this with the 4GB Sticks of Gskill..

tried bios F8, F9, F10, F11a.. ALL do the same thing..

WTF man!  THIS IS CERTIFIED MEMORY for this Board according to Gigabyte!
