G1 Sniper 3 Updated Bios F7 Causes SLI Card Recognition Issue

G1 Sniper 3 Updated Bios F7 Causes SLI Card Recognition Issue
« on: December 10, 2012, 11:08:20 pm »
I apologize in advance if this isnt in the right section, but I had this issue a few months back and at the time just switched back to an older bios. My issue is I have 2 msi gtx 670's in SLI. When ever I flash the bios to F7 (once windows loads) Nvidia's CP shows my top card as the second & the bottom as the first (also says my monitor is plugged into the second which it isnt & the first card set to PhysX). At first I figured it was buggy Nvidia drivers so i just ignored it but I started to get random BSOD so I just reverted to an older bios & all is fine. I have tried cleaning and reinstalling my display drivers (even the recent ones) & even as far as a fresh OS install but it stays the same. I if unplugg the second card & run only 1 card I get no display from my monitor on bootup. I see theres a beta F8 bios for this board for Window8, I have not tried those yet but am a little worried if it does the same I will not be able to upgrade my OS (plan on getting Window8 eventually). I have searched the net but can't find anyone else who has or had this issue.

EDIT: Also after checking MSI afterburner it shows my GPU1 memory usage 4194304 & its staying that way constant (didnt know I had that much mem ;D)
Thanks in advance for any help

Same problem on bioses from f6 and newer. Haven't found the solution. Still using f5 version.
