GA-870A-UD3 and SATA3 HDD's configuration in Windows 8
« on: December 15, 2012, 04:51:55 pm »
Hi!

Having some problem with Windows 8 and when searching through every settings i started to think about if one should do something special to activate my SATA3 HDD's?! Or is it just to plug in and format and use?!

I'm having frequently freezses of my Windows 8 that i can't get rid of. I've downloaded ALL windows 8 drivers for my revision 2.1 but still problem is very much there. Games is unthinkable as for now.

What can i do about this?

Is it my old SATA3 HDD's or what could be the problem?

Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

Today i removed Eset Nod32 and guess what?! I CAN play games :) The windows freezes is almost gone. :)

Strange since Eset tells us that it supports windows 8.
