Overheat on GA-990FXA-UD3

HAve issue with GA-990FXA-UD3 Ver 1.1 running AMD FX-8120 and a GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics card...
PC Shuts itself down - now running CPUID HW Monitor and note this happens when TMPIN2  sensor on board, normally running at
60-63C, reaches 100C!!!!   THsi happens when running 3D Graphics eg Second Life...   Temp rises at one degree a minute!   BTW Core Temps on the FX-8120 only around 49-51 degrees - all eight cores..
Have Northbridge cooler on order and will renew heatsink cpd at same time...

Anyone have any other thoughts...    Is this common or do we have a goosed FX990?????   -  or what???

Sorry it took so long to answer i had to do some research. The problem happens and they solve it like you plan to but id say 10 to 20% of them do it some others complain of the temp but it doesnt shut down. Wish i could be more help just do what you plan and post back for others how it comes out. Welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
