Greetings all. I got a few questions, regarding the BIOS. Which I can't seem to find the correct answers for.

CPU: i5-3570k
Memory: http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=317
1x GTX580

I dont know what to set these 3 things here for, inside the BIOS.

---Advanced Memory Settings
Extreme memory profile (X.M.P) My memory supports XMP. But why not just manually set the timings they run by per default instead, and disable XMP?

Performance Enhance. Can be set to normal, turbo, extreme

---Miscellaneous Settings
PEG Gen3 Slot Configuration. Set it to Gen2? As I was thinking its PCIe 2.0 which is what my GTX580 is?

Oh and do I really need to download and install the USB 3.0 driver from here?

I thought USB 2 / 3 were just "plug and play"?

I would also like to know, what to set the "PWM phase control" too.

Because gigabyte support, dont recommend its being set to extreme performance, unless you got some active cooling on the VRM. Otherwise they will get too hot, acording to gigabyte. But I've seen alot of people, still having it set to extreme performance.

What is your thought in this? And what have you set it too?
