I just bought new board to replace my GA-P35-DS3L with degraded LAN(HW Interrupts with a huge CPU usage(near 50%) when ethernet card is using) And I discovered what EIST (strange, why just not SpeedStep?) does not work at all!
My CPU always work at same speed 2.2Ghz,
OS: Windows XP SP3, CPU Usage 0%
CPU-Z(latest version) what I use, always show 2200 (maximum), voltage 1,152. When it's on low load, voltage jumps to 1,184 - 1.2
same with hwinfo(latest version)
How to exclude software bug? But it's feel like it's true, clock always at 2,2
