Where to find max power from case fan socket on m/b

I asked this in another well known forum,but nobody could give me an answer!
My motherboard is a 78LMT-USB3.
I wish to fit two "Noctua NF-B9 Vortex-Control 92mm Quiet Case Fan" to the one socket on the m/b

So my question is.
Where do you find the max power your motherboard can supply, for case fans?

That information will be very difficult to find without experimentation.
You might be better off just getting a PWM splitter like this one at NewEgg
Assuming your fans are PWM controlled.

The best info I could find was that "non cheapy" motherboards can supply 12W to the fan power connectors. Then you'd have to calculate the fan draw for each fan and add them together. Otherwise a problem ticket to GB might give a solid answer.

A fan speed controller is a good risk free option if you are worried about your mother board

personally i use a conroller or direct feed from PSU. however im using industrial 12v fans (4x120mm 1x160mm) that are noisy as hell (maximum airflow), but that does not worry me as my case is located far away (20m) many rooms away, in the coldest part of my house. My keyboard mouse and displays are located in my lounge in the warm
