Z68AP-d3 rev2.0 with UEFI bios (Ua5)

Are there any precautions to take when flashing to the newest (Ua5) bios?
I'd like to use it for booting with a 3Tb drive which to my knowledge can only be done under Win7 64bit with a mb that has a UEFI bios.

Another thing is that I'm having a black screen issue when coming out of sleep (mouse/kb/everything else works except for the video). Gigabyte support seems to think that it is due to the memory which is not on the supported list. What I'm using is very common 2x4Gb Corsair ddr3-1333 without any overclocking of the cpu/graphics/memory whatsoever. Any help there?
