GA-890GPA-UD3H and F_AUDIO (Front Panel Audio Header)
« on: March 07, 2013, 02:53:08 am »
Has any user of this board attached a headphone AND MICROPHONE thru the F_AUDIO header?

I have been plugging in a headphone very successfully for years now. Recently I purchased a headset with a microphone and have been getting little (or no) volume from the microphone. Connecting the same headset to the rear panel works just fine (plenty of volume).

Of course this brings up the question if the problem is the F_AUDIO header or the case connector. Does anyone have a suggestion about how to sort out which might be the problem?
