M6900 - Incompatibility or fault?

M6900 - Incompatibility or fault?
« on: March 04, 2013, 10:30:29 am »
Hey,

I recently purchased a M6900 gaming mouse. It worked fine for about 10 minutes but then it cut off and started affecting my other usb peripherals (mainly my audio interface). If I unplugged it and tried again it would not recognise the mouse until I restarted and then it would do the same again. I tried it with it in numerous USB ports with everything unplugged but the mouse would always fail.

I have had to declare the mouse as faulty and return it to Amazon but I would like to know if it is more likely to be a faulty mouse or an incompatibility with my system. I'm running Windows 8 on my desktop but I didn't think this would be an issue.

I really enjoyed the mouse whilst I was using it and so I'd like to know whether it is worth ordering another in the hope that I just got a faulty model.

Any help/advice would be most appreciated!
