Is my motherboard compatible with Processor AMDFX-8150 125W

Can anyone tell me if my board is compatible with Processor AMDFX-8150 125W cause its showing Showing 2.8GHZ ON Boot in amd overive and cpu z
Instead of 3.8GHZ and on Cpu Z Amd Over drive

Mother board type: Dont think i cna overclock with it
Gigabyte GA-M68mT-S2

bios version
FC 6/5/2012 2.4

Things i have done

took out my amdfx-4100 processor at 95w and put in a brand new  Processor AMDFX-8150

1. Updated bios
2. Ran prime95 stress test 100%Load and still stayed at 2.8GHZ
3. Reset cmos
4. Looked in my Bios for power saving option there wast anything even in advanced settings with Ctrl + F1
5. Dunno Help please

People said i need to disabled C1E in the bios? but dont have option for that even in advanced options i dont see it

Hi there,

your CPU isn't on the list of supported processors: http://uk.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=3967 so this could well be your problem.

is there any beta bios versions i could try out for my mother board maybe that will fix it ?

Not sure about that. Best advice would be to contact Gigabyte Tech Support on your side of the pond and see if they can help.
