GPU Usage Spikes brand new 7970

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if you could help me at me?

My gpu activity keeps spiking up to around 60 % to 97% whilst idle  I've no idea whats causing this at all. I dont have anything running in the background that would be causing the issue

Any suggestions?

For reference I have a 7970 Ghz Edition, as per usual this happens just after I've went out of the return period for the card ( 7 days)

Ocerckocked? Try drop down clocks. That happening when CAtalyst driver dtop working or something like that. Check it.
