maximize speed on my SSD

I always use windows' default when formatting drives. Then I read an article saying the bigger the block size the faster (ESP SSDs) the faster the drive will be. Is that true? If so can I change the block size without formatting the drive or losing any data? TIA Also what is the best clock speeds settings in bios? TIA!

Hi!

You can optimize the SSD or HDD with the cluster size ,but keep in mind that the cluster size increases or decreases performance based on the files you are using.
Use EASUS for formating non-system partitions and use the command line when you install Windows 7 to adjust the clusters for the system partition.

This thread is in the wrong place and has nothing to do with Gigabyte products though.
