GA-6IEML burned?

GA-6IEML burned?
« on: May 11, 2013, 09:18:38 am »
hi all. this is my problem:
pc presented with the FAULT light on (solid yellow) on the front, but with no signal to the monitor.
then I opened the case, I removed the ram to control it BUT I probably did it while it was connected to the AC. I say maybe because I felt I was not, but because now doesn't start at all (no fan, no hdd, nothing else than led yellow on MB) and I found the manual:
"Do not remove memory modules while
DIMM LED is on. It might cause short or
other unexpected damages to the two
3.3V stand by voltage. Remove memory
Only When modules STR function is
disabled by jumper and AC Power cord is
disconnected. "

I assume probably went in this way  ???.
might have gone into some form of protection from which it can resume or is it more likely to have burned everything?
someone has advice on how to test for?
