Can't access anything in BIOS after start up
« on: June 02, 2013, 03:30:23 pm »
I've had my PC running since October with no issues. Recently I've started getting random BSOD and programs crashing all over the place. Today I tried to get into the BIOS settings and if I hit DEL, it goes to a screen that says dual bios, and then does nothing else. Or if it does go into the set up screen, neither the mouse or keyboard will respond. They are in the same USB ports they were in when I built it, and they worked before. Both mouse and keyboard work once Windows starts. I'm trying to boot from the motherboard DVD but I can't change the boot order. I thought it was a memory issue, but now I'm not sure, thinking maybe the motherboard itself is having some kind of problem.

Hi joemig,

The equipment plugged into the USB ports are not recognized by the BIOS.
In your situation.

Try with a mouse and PS / 2 keyboard.
