GA-EX58-UD3R and Patriot Mem ?
« on: February 03, 2010, 04:53:01 pm »
Earlier this year I had built an i7 920 rig (my first one ever), all in all it works great, but recently I just noticed what I bought isn't running at what is supposed to be running at. I bought Patriot Memory from newegg PVT36G1333ELK. The problem was when I went into the bios and used XMP setting for it to run in the triple channel mode at 1333, my system freezes and it defaults at 1066, which I pretty have no real problem with but you know when you pay for stuff you expect it to work like it is suppose to.   My errors tho' I figured I didn't do enough research when I started this, I looked up the Mem. Compat. list and didn't see the Patriot mem in there that was tested.  But any help in telling me what to dl to run tests and make sure my system is running smoothly as possible will be appreciated.

O yes the memory are in the corresponding slots set for triple channel mode.
