Z77X-UD5H Rev 1.1 eSata drive suddenly experiencing drop outs on playback

Hi all...
I've searched the forums but nothing seems to relate to this issue.

I've been running this machine as my main DAW (Digital Audio Worksataion)
in a professional recording studio for months now without an issue.

Suddenly my eSata audio drive (Glyph) started to have drop outs on playback...
(reading) data from the disc.
It is random, happens once about every 4-5 minutes or so.
This happens no matter how heavy the load. (10 tracks or 100 tracks)

Latencymon has detected hard page faults that could be the culprit.
Last time I ran LatencyMon I had no hard page faults.
Problem is I can't tell what is actually causing these page faults.

I should also mention that the system drive is not experiencing these issues.

My System:
Z77X-UD5H     Bios:F14
Intel i7 3770k
2tb system drive
12gb
Using the on board graphics chip (HD4000)

Posting here is a last ditch effort before doing something drastic.
I was hoping someone might have had something like this before and could point me in the right direction.

HELP!!!!!

and thanks for your time!
