Hi,
I seem to have some problems with my 5 month old gigabyte 7970 ghz oc edition. This situation is from day 1, but i thought it's normal.
Idle temperature: 50
Load temperature: 81 in Splinter Cell Blacklist (ultra settings), lower in other games but not that much.
The fan is on auto so its very very loud
No overclock has been done on this card.
My case is Fractal Design R4, a very good one, i think.
I currently live in Norway, so it's not so hot over here.
Overall i think this is way too hot. I saw that people have 26 degrees in idle.
